Two absolutely stunning vintage ceramic green and blue horse mugs by Engle Studios.
Created by Frank Engle (1916-2002), an internationally known sculptor, designer, painter, glass artisan, ceramicist and professor.
These are two beautiful *rare* finds. These are in great shape except there is a small chip on the bottom of the green mug. Fortunately you can’t see it when it’s sitting.
The glaze is cracked on the inside so I would not recommend drinking out of these. However, they would make a great pen holder, paint brush holder, or just beautiful ceramic decor.
Stamped “Engle studio Newburgh, IND” on the bottom.
Measures 6” wide with handle, 3” width, and 5.5” tall. The opening is 3” x 4”
